Best Buy Ponds Shipping Policy

At Best Buy Ponds, we are committed to providing a smooth and reliable delivery experience. Please review the following shipping information before placing your order.

Compliance with Local Regulations

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any product purchased complies with applicable local building codes, zoning regulations, permit requirements, homeowner association rules, and other laws. Best Buy Ponds is not responsible for determining or ensuring compliance with local regulations.


Order Processing & Shipping

Once your order is placed, your payment method may be authorized or charged according to the terms of your purchase.

Most orders ship within 5–7 business days, and you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Please note that processing and shipping times may be longer during peak seasons, particularly during spring and summer months when demand is highest. Shipping schedules are determined by individual manufacturers and may vary by product.

Estimated lead times are provided on product pages whenever available. If an unexpected delay occurs, we will notify you and provide an updated timeline.

Made-to-Order Fountain Lead Times

The following fountain brands are handcrafted and built to order. Estimated production and shipping lead times begin on the date your order is placed:

Giannini Garden 6–8 weeks (March–October) / 4–6 weeks (November–February)
GIST Concrete Products 6–8 weeks
Fiore Stone (Al's Garden Art) 5–7 weeks

These timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to production schedules, material availability, weather, freight carrier delays, or other factors beyond our control.

Should a significant delay occur, we will contact you with updated information.


Order Cancellations

For most products, orders may be canceled within 24–48 hours of purchase for a full refund.

To request a cancellation, please contact Hello@BestBuyPonds.com as soon as possible and include your order number.

Special-Order Fountain Products

Giannini Garden, GIST Concrete Products, and Fiore Stone fountain orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase.

After 24 hours, production has begun and these orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.

Delivery Information

Please ensure all contact information provided during checkout is accurate and up to date, including:

  • Full name

  • Delivery address

  • Phone number

  • Email address

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in shipping delays or additional carrier fees.

Freight (LTL) Deliveries

Many large fountains, pond kits, and oversized products ship via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight carriers.

LTL freight deliveries are curbside delivery only. Drivers are not responsible for:

  • Moving products onto your property

  • Carrying items into buildings or garages

  • Installing products

  • Assisting with unpacking

Customers are responsible for moving delivered products from the curbside location to their final destination.

Forklift Requirements

Certain oversized Giannini Garden fountain models, particularly large basin fountains, may require a forklift or other unloading equipment due to weight and size limitations.

When applicable, forklift requirements will be clearly noted on the product page.

If you are unsure whether your order requires special unloading equipment, please contact Hello@BestBuyPonds.com before placing your order.

Delivery Assistance

Many products are heavy and may require additional help during delivery.

We recommend arranging for one or more capable adults to assist with unloading and moving large shipments.

If delivery cannot be completed because assistance or equipment is unavailable, additional delivery, storage, redelivery, or return freight charges may apply.


Inspecting Your Shipment

Please inspect your shipment carefully upon delivery.

Before Signing for Delivery

  1. Examine the packaging for visible damage, including:

    • Dents

    • Crushed corners

    • Tears

    • Holes

    • Broken pallets or crates

  2. Write "Subject to Inspection" on the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading before signing.

  3. If visible damage exists, note the specific damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Example:

    "Crate damaged on corner; possible concealed damage."

  4. Take clear photographs of:

    • The entire shipment

    • Shipping labels

    • Packaging materials

    • Any visible damage

  5. Accept delivery whenever possible unless the product is clearly destroyed or unusable.

  6. Do not install, assemble, or use a damaged product before reporting the issue, as doing so may affect warranty or freight claim eligibility.


Damaged Shipments

Special-Order Fountain Products

For Giannini Garden, GIST Concrete Products, and Fiore Stone fountain orders:

  • Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Photos of the packaging and damaged product are required.

  • Claims reported after 24 hours may not qualify for replacement or freight claim coverage.

All Other Products

For all other products, please report damage as soon as possible after delivery. Our team will work directly with the manufacturer and freight carrier to resolve the issue promptly.


Shipping Rates

Free Shipping

Best Buy Ponds offers free standard shipping on most orders shipped within the continental United States.

Certain remote locations, oversized shipments, expedited delivery requests, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations may require additional shipping charges. If additional shipping costs apply, we will contact you before processing your order.


Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.

Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to become available within the carrier's system.
